Bora's ceramic work is done by two sisters in Turkey. When they're finished, they send the necklaces to their cousin in Brooklyn, who does the sterling work.

As Chief Box Opener at embellish, it's my job to open every single box that we receive. As Chief Blog Officer, it's my job to tell you what's in those boxes; hopefully, in a cute, smart, and funny manner. Should I fail in those responsibilities, at least I'll recycle the boxes. Indeed, recycling is so important to us, it's a theme that shows up in at least 30% of our merchandise.
